Senior Legal Counsel (Litigation) – Insurance We have a new permanent opportunity for a UK qualified solicitor with substantial insurance litigation experience, gained in private practice or in-house, to work as a Senior Legal Counsel (Litigation) for a high-profile Lloyd\’s Insurance market broker in the City of London. This is a hybrid role, requiring presence in the London office at least 1 day per week. This role requires experience in the insurance industry, as you will provide legal advice to senior leadership on Errors and Omissions (E&O) claims and commercial disputes. The aim is to minimize legal risk and reputational damage to the business. End-to-end management of E&O claims: advising, managing, and resolving notified E&O matters, including liaising with insurers. # Liaising with Group stakeholders, including the legal team, for escalation and reporting of E&O issues. # Collaborating with other functions to identify E&O trends and risk mitigation measures, evaluating risk factors in business operations. # Managing external legal counsel and controlling external legal spend. In-house experience in the London Insurance market, managing complex disputes, including cross-border jurisdiction. Expertise in insurance law and coverage disputes, with a London Market focus.
