About the Role

As a Senior Care Assistant (Nights), you\’ll be the go-to support during overnight hours-ensuring our residents are safe, comfortable, and cared for while guiding and supporting your night shift team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver personal and emotional care with sensitivity and respect

  • Support residents with toileting, repositioning, and mobility needs

  • Monitor health and wellbeing throughout the night

  • Administer medication safely (as authorised)

  • Accurately complete night reports, charts, and handovers

  • Maintain a calm, homely environment

  • Supervise night staff and act as a shift leader

  • Communicate with on-call staff or emergency services if necessary

What We\’re Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (essential)

  • NVQ Level 3 or willingness to work towards it (desirable)

  • Experience in a care setting, especially with older adults

  • Medication training and understanding of safe administratio Proven ability to lead shifts and support team members

  • Experience with care plans, documentation, and risk assessments

  • A calm, confident, and caring approach to night care

  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
