I am working with a dynamic Accounting firm in Bromsgrove who are looking for a Senior Associate to work in their Business Management team. The key responsibilities are : Key Responsibilities: Assisting on the management of a small portfolio of clients and taking responsibility for ensuring their bookkeeping, management reporting, statutory accounts and any ad-hoc tasks are prepared to a high standard and on a timely basis Preparation of management accounts and reports Preparation of statutory financial statements Working with the client managers to understand the client's requirements and identifying areas where more detailed advice may be required Identify opportunities for any additional services that clients may need and liaise with subject specialists Supporting junior members of staff with their role, especially with more complex compliance requirements Review of work completed by junior members of staff, including but not limited to bookkeeping, management reporting, statutory accounts, VAT returns etc. Preparation of billing proposals Involvement reviewing contracts, withholding and cross-border tax issues Liaising with suppliers, agents and other client contacts Attributes, Requirements, Skills: Minimum of 3-5 years experience in preparing statutory financial statements (FRS 105, FRS 102 1a and FRS 102) ICAEW/ ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or qualified by experience Committed to maintaining technical knowledge to a high level Competent usi…
