Recruitment Support Officer (Temporary Role) – Β£12.60 per hour – Hybrid (Newport, Wales) Duration: 12 months (Potential Extension) Are you looking to build your career in a dynamic and supportive environment? My client is recruiting Recruitment Support Officers to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on meaningful Central Government recruitment campaigns while gaining hands-on experience in a high-volume, service-driven environment. What You\’ll Do: Be the first point of contact for applicants and hiring managers Handle incoming calls, live chats, and emails related to recruitment processes Support internal teams by gathering information from applicant tracking systems and escalating more complex queries Deliver exceptional customer service and support throughout the candidate journey Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with processes Highlight and contribute to service improvements Collaborate closely with team members to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently metShift Model & Hours: Hybrid working: 2 days in-office (currently Thursday & Friday), 3 days from home Office Location: Newport Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (flexible shift rota within these hours)Training & Support: On-the-job training provided (no formal classroom training required) Continuous support and guidance from experienced colleagues and line managersKey Skills & Attributes: Essential: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team Strong customer service focus with a professional manner Organisational skills and the ability to multitask Problem-solving mindset with a proactive attitudeDesirable: Comfortable navigating internal systems and following structured processes Numeracy and data entry skills Experience in a contact centre or customer service environment (preferred, not required)Ready to take the next step in your career?
