We are recruiting on behalf of a growing care provider for a

Registered Manager to lead a newly established residential service in Wolverhampton. Opened earlier this year, the service supports

8 adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, providing high-quality, person-centred care within a supportive residential environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate leader to shape the culture, quality, and future success of a developing service while working closely with residents, families, and multidisciplinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the service
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
  • Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the service
  • Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and standards
  • Drive quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Recruit, manage, develop and retain a high‑performing staff team
  • Oversee care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding practices
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas and training compliance
  • Build strong relationships with families, local authorities and healthcare professionals
  • Monitor service performance and maintain excellent standards of care
  • Ensure safe medication management and health & safety compliance
  • Promote a positive, person‑centred culture throughout the service

Requirements

To be considered, you will have:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Service Manager or Deputy Manager within Learning Disabilities services
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance
  • Experience supporting adults with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding and risk management
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
  • A genuine passion for delivering high‑quality care
  • Current or previous CQC Registration
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care
  • Experience managing a new or developing service
