Our client, a long-established and continually growing company, currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced
HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join their team at their Portadown depot.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of the UK's largest Truck Dealer Network, working on award-winning vehicles while receiving ongoing manufacturer and industry training to further strengthen your career.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on trucks and trailers
- Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
- Repairing and maintaining engines, gearboxes, braking systems (ABS/EBS), lighting systems, and more
- Preparing vehicles for annual MOT testing
- Attending roadside breakdowns and carrying out running repairs where required
- Completing job cards, maintenance records, and safety documentation accurately
- Maintaining high standards of workshop health and safety

Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
