Operations Scheduler
Location: Tunbridge Wells
Hours: Permanent, full-time role (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.30pm (flexibility available with 24 hours' notice)
Hybrid working flexibility from home on some days once trained
Salary: Β£28,000-Β£32,000 per annum

Our Client, a well-established specialist within their field is expanding and looking for an Operations Scheduler to join a friendly team at the heart of service delivery.

What you will be doing:

  • Creating the monthly schedule for engineers across London and the South East, aligned to contract frequency
  • Proactively scheduling both planned PPM visits and reactive appointments, with attention to technician patches and route/access efficiency
  • Monitoring visit completion throughout the month and spotting any drop-offs early
  • Scheduling larger ad-hoc works and keeping the management team updated on any service delivery concerns
  • Providing high-quality, personalised customer service-by phone and email-while managing expectations
  • Supporting continuous improvement by feeding back sites of concern and helping build action plans
  • Sending quotations for chargeable visits and treatments
  • Handling complaints promptly: flagging issues immediately, while taking ownership to resolve quickly where possible

What you will bring:

  • 2 years' experience in scheduling/coordination (or a similar role)
  • Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
  • Calm, professional confidence with both clients and engineers-especially under pressure
  • Strong ability to multitask, work on your own initiative, and adapt quickly when priorities shift
  • A proactive, "outside of the box" mindset
