Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer (Typing Duties)

Temporary Opportunity | Band 3 | Full-Time
We are currently recruiting for a Band 3 Higher Clerical Officer to provide comprehensive administrative and clerical support within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) in the Newtownards Area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator with strong organisational, communication and typing skills to join a busy, patient-focused service.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide telephony support and act as a point of contact for service users and healthcare professionals.
- Book clinical and meeting rooms as required.
- Arrange, book and issue appointment correspondence.
- Audio and copy typing of reports, letters and other documentation.
- Photocopying, scanning and document preparation.
- Log, process and track referrals in line with departmental procedures.
- Update and maintain electronic information systems and waiting lists.
- Provide reception cover and welcome patients and visitors.
- Electronic filing and records management.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with information governance procedures.
- Undertake any other administrative duties appropriate to the grade.
Essential Criteria
- Minimum of 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C) including English Language (or equivalent) and 1 year's administrative experience
OR
- 2 years' administrative experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent typing and keyboard skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
