Records Assistant (Temporary)

Location: York

Pay Rate : Β£13.60ph

If you're detail-focused, comfortable with data, and ready to support a busy team, this temporary role in York could be a great fit. Our Client is looking for someone who can help keep records accurate, up to date, and easy to trust.

What you'll be doing:

  • Scanning Railway health and safety files
  • Entering and verifying a variety of data in the required formats
  • Tracking and verifying the quality of data entry from multiple sources
  • Resolving queries and problems related to data
  • Providing data-processing support to an individual or wider team

What you'll bring:

  • Good IT skills and confidence working with data
  • A careful, quality-first approach to checking details are correct
  • Experience of data handling in a similar support role (1-2 years)
  • The ability to stay organised while completing repetitive tasks accurately
  • Comfort with light manual handling (no heavy lifting)

Additional information:

  • Temporary assignment supporting data processing and record checks within a document-heavy environment
