AO x2 - Court Administration (Operational Support)
Location: Manchester
Working Hours: Monday - Friday
Pay Rate: £12.86ph
What you'll be doing:
- Progressing cases through the court/tribunal journey to support operational and service standards
- Preparing papers and files for hearings, meetings and tribunals, including handling and processing sensitive information accurately
- Creating and updating digital records, interpreting information on a court file and ensuring outcomes are accurately recorded
- Communicating with the public, judiciary, legal representatives and other agencies-supporting a smooth, efficient process
- Helping to keep proceedings running effectively, including preparing court/hearing rooms
- Acting as a first point of contact when required, meeting court users (including vulnerable witnesses) and providing essential support
What you'll bring:
- Strong customer service skills and confidence working in a service-led, customer-facing environment
- Good digital and administrative ability, with excellent attention to detail
- Clear, confident communication in person, over the telephone, digitally and in writing
- Organisational skills and the ability to multi-task in a busy environment
- Resilience and empathy when handling sensitive information and challenging situations
- Adaptability to work across office-based duties and in a court setting
