  • Pay: Β£15.84ph

Hiring for a reputed client within the Government, this AO Litigation Assistant Officer role provides high-quality business management and administrative support to legal and business management teams-helping workstreams run smoothly, deadlines are met, and queries are handled promptly.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide efficient administrative and operational support to legal and business management teams
  • Manage shared inboxes, dealing with queries quickly or escalating appropriately
  • Organise meetings, room bookings and visitor arrangements
  • Coordinate travel, accommodation, couriers, and equipment requests when required
  • Handle physical and electronic post, ensuring accurate management, filing and escalation to the right case holders
  • Take notes/minutes when needed and circulate actions clearly
  • Support business priorities through document preparation tasks (scanning, photocopying, filing and bundling)
  • Support the movement and management of records, including opening, updating, closing and archiving files
  • Escalate risks, issues or delays that could affect service delivery
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain service continuity (including cover where required)
  • Help with implementation of new processes and business initiatives

What you'll bring:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with an eye for detail
  • Confidence managing competing priorities while working accurately to deadlines
  • Clear written and verbal communication, with a professional, helpful approach to stakeholders
  • Experience using Microsoft Office-especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently, while knowing when to seek guidance or escalation
  • Commitment to maintaining accurate records
