Our Client is hiring for Admin Officers at Lincoln County Court-where your communication, administration, and calm approach can make a real difference to users, stakeholders, and wider teams.
What you'll be doing:
- * Undertaking administrative tasks to prepare for, facilitate, and conclude hearing activity
- * Providing support via face to face engagement, telephone (incoming and outbound), and written correspondence in a range of formats
- * Using service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to the right services and give clear, consistent guidance-particularly for users with specific or complex needs
- * Following complaints policies and procedures, responding promptly to help prevent escalation, and updating systems as required
- * Helping to identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings and inform the Senior Person on Site (SPoS) when needed
- * Processing operational support work using standard operating procedures to meet performance targets and service standards
- * Handling case files with accurate data entry, secure information management, and compliance with retention and data loss protocols
- * Supporting jury service tasks (selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking) and processing related expenses and court fees
- * Assisting with listing and scheduling, including responsiveness to urgent matters and adherence to listing policies
- * Supporting enforcement procedures, including financial assessments, fine collection support, and production of basic statistical/financial reports
- * Contributing to health and safety activities (e.g., PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
What you'll bring:
- * A strong customer-focused mindset and confidence communicating clearly and consistently with a wide range of people
- * The ability to manage sensitive information responsibly and accurately
- * A methodical approach to administration, able to follow processes and meet operational standards
- * Calm judgement when dealing with queries, escalation risk, or time-sensitive requests
Additional information:
You'll support compliance and day-to-day operations under team leader guidance, including theatre of tasks such as judicial business support (e.g., diary coordination, as locally required).
If you're successful in your application a BASIC DBS will be required as part of the on-boarding checks with Brook Street.
