Senior Support Worker

Location: Leyland
Salary: £27,135 - £28,901 per year

Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team in Leyland, supporting adults to live independent, fulfilling lives.

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support while leading and mentoring a team of Support Workers. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Support Worker who is looking to progress their career with a supportive and well-established care provider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care and support in line with individual care plans
  • Support with personal care, medication, and daily living activities
  • Promote independence, dignity, and positive outcomes
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team of Support Workers
  • Complete assessments and update care plans as required
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are followed at all times

Skills & Experience

  • Experience working within adult social care
  • Previous experience as a Senior Support Worker, Team Leader, or similar
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
  • Medication administration experience
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable
