If you are ready for a new challenge and opportunity to lead and develop a team supporting adults with autism and behaviours that may challenge, we are seeking a skilled Registered Manager to oversee a two-bedded residential service in Leyland. Working for a progressive and established organisation who provide support and care to adults with autism, learning disabilities and complex behaviours, we seek someone who holds strong values and person-centred support at the heart of what they do.
The role:
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of a two-bedded residential service for adults with complex behaviours and autism.
- Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
- Develop and implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of service users.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of service users' needs and progress.
- Ensure effective communication with service users, families, and external stakeholders.
- Manage budgets and resources efficiently to maintain service quality.
- Liaise with commissioners and stakeholders and be aware of all relevant CQC legislation and requirements.
The ideal Candidate:
- A skilled RM who seeks a new opportunity and is ready for a new challenge, ideally with the NVQ Level 5 Leadership & Management.
- Experience in leading teams and performance management of staff, and conducting supervisions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Flexible in working approach. Monday to Friday, permanent 37.5 hours per week. On-call duties shared with other managers.
