What you'll be doing:

  • Manage residential property applications from start to finish, building ownership of your own cases
  • Input cases and statistics into Rescase and spreadsheets, maintaining clear records
  • Create and manage online case folders and ensure supporting documents are up to date
  • Liaise with judges and legal officers, issuing directions, decisions and correspondence
  • List hearings (using List Assist) and attend hearings as clerk
  • Support remote hearings using CVP
  • Handle court administration for cases transferred to RPT
  • Answer telephone enquiries and monitor the RP Southern email inbox
  • Prepare outgoing daily post and complete day-to-day postal duties

What you'll bring:

  • A strong customer focus with confident service skills in a busy admin environment
  • Experience working in administration with excellent communication and organisational ability
  • The confidence to keep things moving accurately against set processes and quality standards
  • A calm, reliable approach when working with the public, judiciary and wider stakeholders

Additional information:

If you're successful in your application a BASIC DBS will be required as part of the on-boarding checks with Brook Street.

Flexibility may be needed to work occasionally at other local HMCTS offices.
