Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our Belfast client who are currently seeking a highly experienced, commercially astute Finance Manager to join our leadership team. This is a demanding, high-profile role suited to a resilient professional who thrives in a fast-paced, pressurised environment and consistently delivers to tight deadlines.
Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will lead a small finance team and take full ownership of financial reporting, controls, and process optimisation across the business. You will play a key role in supporting strategic decision-making, driving financial performance, and ensuring robust governance as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee all transactional finance functions for Northside Graphics and associated companies
- Manage working capital, cash flow forecasting, and cash controls in a dynamic trading environment
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements in line with strict reporting deadlines
- Maintain a robust and effective credit control function
- Drive continuous improvement and optimisation of the Sage Intacct accounting system
- Support the Finance Director in developing insightful management reporting using Sage Intacct and Power BI
- Ensure full compliance with all tax obligations, filings, and payments
- Prepare comprehensive audit files and act as the primary liaison with external auditors
- Embed and uphold a strong culture of financial control, accountability, and compliance
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small finance team, ensuring high performance under pressure
- Undertake additional finance-related responsibilities as required
Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Significant post-qualification experience in a senior finance role
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Excel and strong overall IT capability
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Sage accounting software and Power BI
- Background in manufacturing environments, including product costing
- Involvement in major systems implementation or finance transformation projects
- Experience with Opera, Accura, or similar ERP systems
