About the Role

We are currently recruiting a Contact Worker to support supervised family time sessions with children and families. This role plays a vital part in safeguarding children while promoting positive, safe, and meaningful contact between children and their families. You will work with children from new-born to 18 years, delivering sessions in contact centres, community settings, and family homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake supervised family time sessions with children and families
  • Always safeguard children and families, reporting concerns promptly to the allocated Social Worker
  • Lone work with families across contact hubs, community venues, and family homes
  • Directly supervise and observe interactions during family time sessions
  • Provide practical and emotional support to children and parents to ensure sessions are positive and child-focused
  • Maintain professional boundaries and accurate session records
  • Work flexibly to meet service needs and carry out other reasonable duties as required
