Location: RAF Wyton, Druce Ave, Huntingdon, PE28 2EF - Hybrid (60% office attendance)

Pay rate: Β£15.98 per hour

Working pattern: Mon-Fri, 8:30-4:30 (Full time office attendance for the first 2 weeks for training, Hybrid available after)

Assignment Length: until 31/03/27 (with possibility of extension)

Clearance: Basic DBS (Costs covered by the hiring process)

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the Housing Contract Manager to deliver key operational elements of the FDIS NAMS contract for Service Family Accommodation (SFA) across the UK
  • Help ensure contractual compliance and delivery of performance standards, in line with FDIS contract and Tri-Service Housing Regulations (TSARs)
  • Support assurance activities by recording, reporting and escalating risks, issues and opportunities
  • Analyse and report on trends using collated information to identify improvements in service delivery
  • Attend audits alongside industry partners to support adherence to governance, policy and best practice
  • Assist with performance management activities, including reviewing outputs from meetings and supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Help manage Defence Accommodation Stores (DAS) activities (including furniture provision via industry partners) and maintain key records (spend/stock/disposal/refurbishment logs)
  • Provide essential administration support including managing a multiuser mailbox and supporting complaint-related processes
  • Support emergent tasks and be prepared to cover for the Housing Contract Manager when required

What you'll bring:

  • Experience working in a customer service environment
  • Confident communication skills, with strong negotiation and influencing ability-able to lead through others
  • A willingness to travel 1-2 times per month with a UK driving licence
  • Ability to analyse and resolve issues independently
  • Strong organisation and time management in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Professional, values-led approach: integrity, honesty, and professionalism, with resilience and adaptability
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn-recent graduates with the ability to ramp up quickly are welcome
