Court Usher – Southampton\\n Pay: £12.21 per hour | Temporary (initial 3 months, likely extension) | On-site role\\n\\nWe are recruiting for a Court Usher to support the smooth running of court hearings in Southampton. This is a vital public-facing role where you'll be the first point of contact for court users, ensuring hearings are well-organised and run efficiently.\\n\\nThe role:\\n\\nWelcoming and supporting members of the public, legal representatives, and court users.\\n\\nPreparing and clearing courtrooms for hearings.\\n\\nEscorting participants and calling people into court in the correct order.\\n\\nHandling administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, post handling, and updating records.\\n\\nSupporting the judiciary and court staff with documents, forms, and clerical work.\\n\\nProviding information to court users and dealing with enquiries in a professional and sensitive manner.\\n\\nWhat we're looking for:\\n\\nStrong communication and people skills, with the ability to stay professional under pressure.\\n\\nComfortable working with people from all backgrounds, including vulnerable individuals.\\n\\nBasic IT and administration skills.\\n\\nPrevious public service or customer-facing experience is desirable.\\n\\nDetails:\\n\\nLocation: Southampton (must be fully on-site.
