About the Company: My client who has supported children and young people for over 100 years is seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Workers to join their team. If you’re passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of Children and Young People, we encourage you to apply. This role will be based in their Children’s Residential Homes, across the Leicestershire region., * Provide high-quality care and support to individuals with various needs.

  • Support clients in daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and household chores.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of care provided.

  • Waking Nights – You will be working through the night, observing and supporting the residents of this home.

  • Experience with Children and Young people settings, or similar role is essential.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Empathy, patience, and a compassionate nature.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Basic IT skills (touchscreen devices, computers).

  • Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.

  • Up-to-date medication, moving, and manual handling training.

  • Enhanced Adult and Child workforce DBS (update service).

This role is a full-time role that will be on a temporary contract, with the opportunity to go permanent.
