Are you an organised and proactive Parts Person with experience in automotive, fleet, engineering, or workshop environments?
We are looking for a Fleet Parts Person to join a busy vehicle maintenance operation, ensuring the efficient procurement, stock control, and distribution of parts required to keep the fleet running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, order, and issue vehicle parts and components
- Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records
- Raise and process purchase orders
- Liaise with suppliers and workshop teams
- Receive, check, and allocate parts to repair jobs
- Monitor parts usage to support cost control
- Support stock audits and inventory management processes
- Coordinate parts collections and deliveries when required
About You
- Previous experience in a parts, stores, procurement, automotive, or fleet environment
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and component identification
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Experience working with suppliers and purchase orders
- Good IT and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
- Experience within HGV, PSV, commercial vehicle, fleet, or workshop environments
- Knowledge of stock control and inventory management systems
- Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
