Pay: £13 per hour | £60 per sleep-in + holiday pay.

We are recruiting an experienced, compassionate Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a young woman living independently with an acquired brain injury in Barry. This is a rewarding role for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and making a genuine difference day to day. You will support her with everyday tasks at home and in the community, encouraging independence while offering consistent, person-centred support.

The role involves working collaboratively with her psychiatrist and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes. No personal care or specialist training is required. However, due to ABI-related challenges, experience working with brain injury, personality disorder, or other mental health conditions would be highly beneficial.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as the role includes supporting with transport. We offer full-time or part-time hours, a flexible rota to fit around your personal life or other commitments, and a supportive working environment where your experience and compassion are truly valued.
