Registered Manager - Domiciliary Care & Supported Living
Location: Cannock, Staffordshire - covering West Midlands, Staffordshire and surrounding areas
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Brook Street Social Care is recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead domiciliary care and supported living services across Staffordshire and the West Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager, Deputy Manager or senior care professional with strong CQC knowledge who is ready to take responsibility for the quality, compliance and development of regulated adult social care services.
You must either already be CQC registered or have the relevant experience and be in a position to apply for and take on CQC registration as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of supported living and domiciliary care services
- Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and Fundamental Standards
- Lead safeguarding, quality assurance, audits and service improvement
- Prepare services for CQC inspections
- Oversee recruitment, supervision, training and staff performance
- Ensure care plans and risk assessments are person-centred and compliant
- Build strong relationships with commissioners, professionals and families
- Support the continued growth and development of services
About You
- Minimum 2 years' management/leadership experience within health or social care
- Experience within supported living, domiciliary care or adult social care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and inspections
- Knowledge of safeguarding, the Care Act and Mental Capacity Act
- Strong leadership and quality assurance experience
- Level 5 qualification desirable or willingness to work towards it
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
- CQC registered or ready and eligible to apply for registration
