Admin Officer (AO)
Location: Bournemouth BH7 7DS- office-based. Please note: from January, the role will move to BH15 2NS.

PAY: Β£12.86PH

Additional information:

  • Full-time role: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm (office-based during the initial probation period)
  • Training will be provided: once core responsibilities are completed, you'll be supported to develop further into General List work
  • You'll be required to complete mandatory eLearning courses and training modules as part of induction and ongoing employment
  • There may be an opportunity for hybrid working after the three-month probation period, subject to business needs, performance, and management approval

Our Client is hiring for a reputed client and is looking for a reliable, organised Admin Officer to help manage enforcement-related correspondence and day-to-day office support.

What you'll be doing:

  • Manage incoming and outgoing enforcement correspondence accurately and efficiently
  • Sort, distribute, and prepare post for dispatch
  • Print documentation and correspondence for home-based colleagues, ensuring it's completed and sent on time
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems where required
  • Support the wider team with general administrative tasks
  • Follow office procedures, including data protection requirements and confidentiality standards

What you'll bring:

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident working independently and as part of a team
  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Clear communication skills (written and verbal)
  • The ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks effectively
