Admin Officer (Grade 4)
Location: Blandford Forum, DT11-8ST Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Pay rate:Β£17.84

What you'll be doing:
- Manage executive and political correspondence-from logging through to final, high-quality responses
- Help prepare clear, accurate briefings for MPs and support relationship-building with political stakeholders
- Work with Government Relations to respond to Parliamentary Questions, often to tight deadlines
- Triage and coordinate MP and stakeholder enquiries, delivering timely, professional outcomes
- Support customers with enquiries, complaints, and FOI/EIR requests, including managing a caseload in line with operational instructions
- Lead on complex complaints and information requests, ensuring statutory requirements and the Customer Charter are met
- Lead complex enquiries for the Wessex area, working across the organisation to gather accurate information and deliver responses
- Contribute as part of a dispersed team across Blandford and Bridgwater, with occasional meetings
What you'll bring:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the drive to shape clear, compelling messages
- Enthusiasm for customer service, with experience handling general enquiries and customer contact (in person or digital)
- Confident self-management-able to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Experience handling FOI/EIR requests and managing information enquiries
- A team-first approach, building positive working relationships
- The ability to guide or support others
- A basic understanding of the remit of Local Operations technical teams
Additional information:
- Occasional meetings with a dispersed team across Blandford and Bridgwater
