Location: Bath (Hybrid Working Available)
Hours: 22 hours per week, any 3 days Monday to Thursday (09:00 - 17:00)
Pay Rate: Β£14.07 per hour
Contract: Temporary until November 2026
Start Date: 05/10/2026

Are you an organised Senior administrator with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills? We're recruiting for a Workforce Development Administrator to join a busy HR team within a prestigious higher education environment.
This is a varied role supporting workforce development initiatives and academic career progression processes. You'll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, providing high-quality administrative support, coordinating key meetings, maintaining records and data, and helping to deliver staff development programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting committee meetings, preparing and distributing documentation
  • Maintaining accurate digital and physical records
  • Recording meeting outcomes and communicating decisions
  • Responding to queries from staff and managers
  • Managing and updating HR data, databases and spreadsheets
  • Producing reports and supporting data analysis
  • Assisting with training and development programmes and events
  • Managing email communications and updating
  • Supporting workforce development and organisational projects

About You

  • Previous administration experience within a busy environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience working with databases and reporting tools
  • Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Committed to delivering excellent customer service

Desirable

  • Experience within an HR environment
  • Event coordination experience
  • Understanding of data protection and information management requirements
  • HR qualification or relevant equivalent experience
