What We Offer:

Key Responsibilities:
- Making new and review outpatient appointments, ensuring adherence to NHS referral and waiting time guidelines and managing outpatient waiting lists.
- Processing referrals for diagnostic and specialist procedures, adding them to hospital IT systems, and handling centralized booking requests, often in a rotational capacity across different services.
- Managing first appointment bookings for designated services, registering referrals on patient administration systems promptly, and forwarding referral letters to relevant services within agreed timeframes.
- Monitoring waiting lists to ensure patients are booked according to access policies, escalating potential breaches, and liaising with clinical staff to arrange urgent appointments as needed.
Qualifications:
- 4 GCSEs (Grades A-C), including English Language, plus 1 year of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
