My Public Sector Client based in Cosford, Wolverhampton is looking for an Administration Officer to support their team. This is a temporary role with the possibility of extension, Monday to Friday, 37.00 hours a week. This role is paying £14.19 per hour and is currently fully onsite.
The responsibilities of this role involve patient facing interactions, email, and telephone correspondence, booking of appointments and courses, proactive management of the appointment book and caseload, dealing with general enquiries and liaising with external agencies to facilitate the patient care pathway.
You will be expected to attend meetings, support quality improvement initiatives and be involved with regular reviews of admin processes. The role will also include administrative support to a multidisciplinary team, which involves a considerable amount of assertiveness and diplomacy to constitute the effectiveness of the department. Including shared responsibility in general office duties such as ordering stationary, scanning, shredding, photocopying, paper-filing as well as electronic filing on cloud storage platform SharePoint.
Skills must include a polite telephone manner, the ability to keep calm in a demanding role, prioritisation of workload and an adeptness at multi-tasking. You will also require discretion and attention to detail when handling confidential patient information.
Please be aware that this role will require a DBS and three years referencing.
