Brook Street are delighted to be supporting our client (Network Rail) with their recruitment for an Admin Support located in Glasgow.

Role specifics:
Location – Glasgow, St Vincent street (central)
Temporary, 6 months
Start date – ASAP
Full time – Monday to Friday, 8:30 – 4:45 Monday to Thursday, Friday – 08:30 – 15:30
Hybrid – 3 days per week required in office
Pay rate – £14.26 per hour

Job details:
The Temporary Worker will provide administrative support. They will follow set procedures and will exercise some independent judgement in carrying out instructions, under general supervision. Managing and entering data relating to asset management. Lots of spreadsheet work, report logs, taking minutes in meetings.

Examples of work performed will include but not be restricted to:

  • Collating and analysing fairly complex information or data, submitting results in a written report
  • Overseeing administrative procedures and processes
  • Assisting with budget preparation and control, if required
  • Acting as a administrative liaison with internal and / or external sources
  • Preparing routine correspondence

Typical qualifications and experience:

  • Five GCSEs at Grade C or above or equivalent (including English Language or equivalent)
  • NVQ Business Administration Level 2 (or suitable clerical experience)
  • Administrative experience with a good knowledge of and experience in using Microsoft Office
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written

Must have:

  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Able to pass a basic disclosure Scotland check
  • Photographic ID
  • Able to commute to Glasgow centre
