Job Description
- Preparation and Review of Financial Statements: Prepare and review UK statutory financial statements in accordance with FRS 102, ensuring compliance with UK financial reporting standards.
- Audit Coordination: Plan, schedule, and coordinate audit work, assist with audit queries, and communicate effectively with internal teams and clients.
- Compliance and Team Support: Ensure timely delivery of compliance work with minimal supervision, support the Compliance Team, and handle client queries with initiative.
- Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate issues or concerns to the Compliance line manager as necessary.
Attributes and Experience: Previous experience in UK statutory financial preparation, review, or audit is required. Part-qualified ACA/ACCA is highly desirable, with ongoing study support available.
Skills and Competencies: Highly organised, excellent communication skills, ability to use Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and experience with IRIS is desirable. The role requires high attention to detail and the ability to build trust and relationships quickly.
