We are seeking an experienced CIW Registered Manager to oversee one or two solo-placement children's homes, providing safe, stable and high-quality care.
The Role
- Lead the day-to-day running of two solo homes.
- Ensure compliance with CIW standards.
- Provide strong leadership and staff supervision.
- Oversee person-centred care planning.
- Promote positive outcomes for young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Safeguarding and wellbeing of young people.
- Staff performance, development and culture.
- Preparing for and leading CIW inspections.
- Managing budgets and administrative tasks.
- Liaising with social workers and external agencies.
What You Need
- Minimum 12 months' residential childcare experience (supervisory or managerial).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational ability.
- Solid understanding of safeguarding and CIW requirements.
- Ability to manage staff, resources and compliance effectively.
Qualifications
- Level 4 Preparing for Leadership & Management (Wales).
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or working towards).
