Deputy Manager - Children's Residential Home (4-Bed) Bradford (BD9) £16.50 per hour + £45 per sleep 160 hours per month

Join a High-Quality Children's Residential Service. We are recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join a well-established 4-bed Children's Residential Home supporting young people aged 8-17 years. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced senior or team leader ready to step up, or an existing Deputy Manager looking to grow within a supportive, child-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead shifts and manage the home in the Manager's absence
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of children at all times
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations (2015) and Quality Standards
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop staff performance
  • Contribute to audits, inspections, and quality assurance processes
  • Build strong relationships with Local Authorities, schools, and professionals
  • Support young people's emotional, social, and educational development
  • Promote a safe, nurturing, and structured environment
Requirements
  • Level 3 Diploma in Children & Young People's Workforce (Essential)
  • Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or willing to work towards)
  • Experience in a children's residential setting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Sound knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted regulations
  • Ability to lead by example and create a positive culture
