We are recruiting a dedicated and motivated Service Manager / Team Leader to oversee a specialist supported living service in Skipton. This service supports adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, complex needs and mobility needs, helping individuals to live as independently as possible within a safe and person-centred environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health challenges and complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, motivate and develop a staff team supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs in Skipton.
  • Ensure the service meets all CQC standards and delivers safe, high-quality care.
  • Supervise, mentor and support staff development, promoting strong leadership within the Team Leader structure.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and workforce development within the Skipton service.
  • Oversee care planning, risk management and person-centred support for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs.
  • Build strong relationships with families, professionals and external stakeholders.
  • Support operational oversight including rota management, compliance and service performance.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to continuously improve the supported living service in Skipton.
About You:

We are looking for a confident Service Manager or experienced Team Leader with strong knowledge of supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and complex needs.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience as a Service Manager, Deputy Manager or Team Leader within a CQC-regulated service.
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Health & Social Care (or working towards).
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC compliance and supported living best practice.
  • Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and complex needs.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding support services in Skipton.
