Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a proactive Agri Sales Executive to join their dynamic team in Ballymena. This role is ideal for someone with a strong interest in agriculture, excellent communication skills, and the drive to build lasting customer relationships while achieving sales growth.
About the Role
As an Agri Sales Executive, you will play a key role in expanding the agricultural sales portfolio. You will engage with clients, contractors, and distributors - building trusted relationships and turning enquiries into successful orders. Your day will involve a mix of telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, ensuring each customer receives excellent service from first contact to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and convert sales opportunities to achieve targets
- Price and respond to customer enquiries accurately and within agreed timeframes
- Maintain and update the CRM system to track leads, quotes, and conversions
- Ensure all orders meet agreed profit margins and customer specifications
- Work closely with Planning, Production, and Quality teams to deliver on time
- Collaborate with the Agriculture Sales Manager to identify new product and market opportunities
- Represent the company at trade shows, site visits, and industry events across the UK and ROI
Criteria
- Minimum GCSEs in English and Maths
- Clean driving licence
- Proven experience in sales or customer service (agri, construction, or manufacturing experience an advantage)
- Confident communicator who builds rapport easily with customers
- Self-motivated and commercially aware, with a genuine interest in the agricultural industry
- Flexible to travel to customer sites and events across the UK and ROI
- Strong organisational, time management, and IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
