Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Support - Probation Service (Newport, Isle of Wight)

  • Position: Temporary Receptionist/Administrative Support
  • Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour
  • Location: 8 Sea Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5BN
  • Hours: 19 hours per week, with the possibility of some evening (until 7:00 PM) and Saturday morning shifts (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
  • Contract Duration: Until 14/07/2025, with potential for extension

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Welcoming visitors and handling incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Managing mail, petty cash, and issuing travel warrants.
  • Ensuring the office runs smoothly by coordinating supplies, handling admin tasks, and supporting the team.
  • Assisting with building maintenance requests and ensuring health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Updating databases and retrieving information as needed.
