Brook Street have partnered with a market leading engineering and production business based in West Yorkshire to recruit a Production Scheduling Coordinator on a temporary basis. Our client has been in operation for over 75 years, during which time they have become a well-known entity in their field and trade with businesses across the globe.
As a Production Scheduling Coordinator for this business, you will be a key member of the overall production process, liaising with the sales team to assist with quotations and the production team for resource organisation. Previous experience in this role is preferred; however, previous experience in other roles that have required a meticulous, organised approach to their work is also acceptable.
Location: Shipley (BD17)
Duration: Initially 4 months with potential extension
Pay Rate: £16.25 per hour
Hours: 9am-5pm (Monday to Friday)
Duties:
- Assist the Sales Team when quoting prices and lead time estimates.
- Work with the Finance Team to perform standard cost build-ups.
- Produce schedules for stores within the production team.
- Review and action Engineering Change Notes and BOM changes.
- Coordinate within various teams in the business to ensure smooth production operations.
- Attend production meetings.
- Provide monthly sales forecasts.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have an understanding of MRP2 systems, Order Policy Types, and Purchase orders.
