Location: Preston Children's Residential - 2 bed and 1 bed EBD homes

Shift Pattern: 3 on 3 off (10pm-10am)

Do you have experience supporting children in residential care and the resilience to make a real difference through the night? Brook Street Social Care is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established children's residential service, recruiting Waking Night Support Workers for their 2 and 1 bedded children's homes in Preston, supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.

The Role

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in providing a safe, calm and nurturing environment during night hours. You'll support young people with emotional regulation, ensure safeguarding standards are upheld, complete night-time routines and respond confidently to any incidents.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a children's residential home
  • Experience supporting children with EBD
  • A full UK driving licence - ESSENTIAL
  • Calm, resilient and confident approach
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding and boundaries
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts

Please note: applications without residential childcare experience and a driving licence cannot be considered.
