Brook Street Recruitment is working on behalf of our client who is urgently seeking an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their well-established logistics team based in Mallusk. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate import and export shipments across road, air, and sea
- Liaise with carriers, agents, and customers to ensure smooth, timely deliveries
- Prepare and manage all shipping documentation (bills of lading, invoices, etc.)
- Provide quotations and negotiate rates with suppliers and clients
- Track shipments and proactively resolve any issues during transit
- Ensure full compliance with international trade and customs regulations
Experience & Skills Required
- Must have previous freight forwarding experience - 100% essential
- Strong familiarity with customs procedures and documentation
- Knowledge of customs and international shipping regulations
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy operational environment
