Overview Registered Manager – Children\’s ResidentialLocation: Blaenau GwentSalary: Up to £50,000Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per weekContract: PermanentWe are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established children\’s residential home in Blaenau Gwent. You will oversee the home\’s operations, ensuring compliance and delivering trauma-informed care for young people with complex needs, including Autism, EBD, and CSE risk.Key Responsibilities Lead and manage high-quality care in line with Welsh Government standardsEnsure compliance with safeguarding, RISCA, and inspection frameworksAct as Designated Safeguarding Officer and oversee safeguarding practicesRecruit, supervise, and develop staff to maintain a skilled teamPromote a culture of dignity, respect, and restorative justiceEssential Requirements Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children\’s Health & Social Care (essential)Registered with Social Care Wales and DBS Update Service (preferred)Minimum 2 years\’ management experience in a children\’s home (preferred)Strong knowledge of safeguarding, RISCA, and HR proceduresFull UK Driving LicenceBenefits Competitive salary and company benefits.
