Brook Street Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a leading global insurance brokerage to appoint an experienced Insurance Account Manager to their expanding Corporate Team in Belfast. Our client is one of the world's largest and most respected insurance brokers, operating across 100+ locations globally. Their Belfast office is a recognised centre of excellence and the second largest office outside London, supporting complex, high-value corporate clients across multiple sectors.
The Role
You will join a highly skilled corporate team responsible for delivering tailored insurance solutions for a diverse portfolio of clients with complex risk profiles. This role offers genuine exposure to sophisticated placements, insurer relationships and strategic client management.
- Managing and placing a broad range of commercial and corporate insurance risks
- Providing expert, proactive advice to clients on coverage, structure and market conditions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurer partners and underwriters
- Delivering a consistently high level of client service, including efficient handling of mid-term adjustments and technical queries
- Full ownership of client file management, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely completion
- Maintaining strict client confidentiality and adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
About You
This opportunity is suited to an experienced Insurance Account Manager who enjoys working with complex risks and values professional autonomy. You will have:
- Significant account handling experience within a commercial or corporate insurance environment
- Strong technical insurance knowledge, with experience managing complex and varied risks
- Proven ability to manage a diverse client portfolio and build trusted client relationships
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging at all levels
- CII qualification (or actively working towards)
