Brook Street Social Care will, at all times during your employment, use reasonable endeavours to allocate you to suitable assignments. Your hours of work may vary from one assignment to another, and you will be advised of the expected hours for each assignment. There may also be occasions when no work is available.

Overview Of The Role
You will work in a hostel setting and, depending on the assignment, out in the community. Your support will be directed towards individuals at risk of homelessness, suffering mental health issues, struggling with substance misuse, or ex-offenders. Your responsibilities include ensuring their safety, supporting emotional needs, assisting with housing benefits, and providing companionship and guidance.
Required Experience
This role often provides last-minute cover, so the ability to \’hit the ground running\’ is essential. Previous experience working with vulnerable populations in similar settings is required.
