We are seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to join a children's residential care setting. This role focuses on providing safe, consistent and high-quality support to children and young people with emotional, social and behavioural needs. As a Residential Support Worker, you will work as part of an experienced care team, supporting young people to feel secure, develop life skills and achieve positive outcomes. This position operates in line with Children's Homes Regulations, Ofsted standards and safeguarding requirements.

What you'll do:

  • Provide day-to-day care and support to children and young people
  • Support admissions, transitions and ongoing progress reviews
  • Contribute to care plans and key worker responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate care records and daily logs
  • Support emotional, behavioural and health needs
  • Assist with routines, cooking, housekeeping and activities
  • Promote independence, resilience and positive behaviour
  • Support safe handling and storage of medication
  • Work shifts including sleep-ins, evenings, weekends and bank holidays
