We are recruiting experienced Senior Support Workers to join a high-quality residential care service supporting adults with profound learning disabilities and complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed Senior Support Worker looking to develop their career in adult social care and supported living.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care in line with individual support plans
- Assist with daily living including bathing, dressing, meal prep
- Lead Support Workers and ensure safe, effective shift management
- Promote independence and support individuals to meet personal goals
- Uphold safeguarding standards and follow all policies
- Maintain accurate documentation and records
- Work collaboratively with families, professionals and the care team
- Support managers in ensuring high standards of care
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential care or supported living
- Experience leading teams in learning disability or complex needs services
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding and relevant legislation
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Flexible to work on a rolling rota including weekends and on-call
- Ideally a car driver
