We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caseworker/Support Worker to join our team at a homeless hostel in Doncaster. As a key member of our support team, you will play a vital role in helping individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Your primary goal will be to assist them in achieving stability, improving their quality of life, and transitioning into secure, long-term housing.
Job Description:
- Supporting Individuals: Provide comprehensive support to residents with addiction, mental health issues, and those navigating benefits and life skills challenges.
- Personalised Care: Offer tailored support to help individuals achieve their personal goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other agencies and services to ensure holistic support for our residents.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting vulnerable individuals.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Worked with individuals with addiction, previously undertake a role as a case worker.
- Positive Attitude: Possess a positive, can-do attitude with a passion for enhancing others' lives.
- Empathy and Care: Demonstrate empathy and a caring approach towards residents.
- Commitment to Training: Be willing to attend training sessions as needed to support your role.
Shifts and Compensation:
- Shift Patterns: 4 WEEK ROLLING ROTATION
- Morning Shift: 07.30-15.30pm
- Afternoon Shift: 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm
- Night Shift: 10 pm - 8 am
