Youth Support Worker – Semi‑Independent Living Bristol & Gloucestershire Pay: £12.40/hour weekdays * £13.40/hour weekends Support young people aged 16-18+ in semi‑independent homes, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills. Role Summary Deliver key‑work sessions and day‑to‑day support. Promote education, training, healthy routines, and positive decision‑making. Safeguard young people and report concerns promptly. Support with daily tasks, appointments, and independent living skills. Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and meetings. Build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies. Facilitate house meetings and encourage participation. Work flexibly, including covering shifts and supporting other homes when needed. Requirements 1 year\’s experience with young people (desirable). Willing to work towards QCF/NVQ Level 3. Ability to lone‑work; sleep‑ins may be required. Enhanced DBS required. Flexibility around rota changes and bank holidays. Job Types: Full‑time, Part‑time, Temporary, Contract, Volunteer
