Newly Refurbished 4-Bed Children's Home

Are you an experienced children's residential leader looking for the opportunity to build and shape a new service from the ground up?

We are recruiting a Registered Manager to lead a new 4-bed children's home supporting young people aged 13 to 17 with EBD, trauma, attachment-related needs and complex social and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Ofsted registration and Fit Person process
  • Recruit, develop and manage the residential care team
  • Establish safeguarding and operational systems
  • Manage referrals, admissions and placement planning
  • Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards
  • Lead safeguarding and child protection practice
  • Build relationships with Local Authorities and commissioners
  • Drive high standards and positive Ofsted outcomes
  • Completed Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • Minimum 3 years' experience within children's residential care in the last 5 years
  • Minimum 1 year supervisory or management experience
  • Strong knowledge of Ofsted and Children's Homes Regulations
  • Safeguarding and child protection experience
  • Full UK driving licence

Previous Registered Manager experience or experience opening a new children's home would be highly desirable.
