Nominated Individual - Children's Residential Service Location: Eddington Salary: £31,200-£41,600 per annum (based on 2 days per week) Hours: 2 days per week, 9:00am-5:00pm Start: ASAP We are recruiting an experienced Nominated Individual to support a new one-bed children's residential home currently progressing through the Ofsted registration process. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Director, you will provide senior regulatory oversight, support Ofsted registration and ensure the service maintains high standards of safeguarding, compliance and quality. Key Responsibilities Support the home through the Ofsted registration process Act as a key point of contact with Ofsted Provide oversight and support to the Registered Manager Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards Oversee safeguarding, risk management and service governance Conduct quality assurance, audits and service reviews Ensure the home remains Ofsted inspection-ready Support continuous service improvement About You You will ideally have: Previous Nominated Individual or Responsible Individual experience Children's residential care experience Strong knowledge of Ofsted registration and inspections Experience supporting the registration of a children's home Knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations 2015 and Quality Standards Strong safeguarding and regulatory compliance experience Experience overseeing or supporting Registered Managers This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced children's residential professional looking for a flexible two-day-per-week senior role with the opportunity to play a key part in the development of a new service.
