Supported Living Team Manager Birmingham/Worcester borders £30000

Full UK driving licence and own vehicle essential. Due to an exciting period of growth, I have partnered with an established provider to recruit their new supported living team manager for one of their Birmingham services. You will empower the people you support to live independently. Your new company prides themselves on fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for both staff and service users. They are committed to high-quality care and are looking for a passionate Supported Living Team Manager to join the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and motivate a team of support workers.
  • Develop tailored support plans for service users.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Build positive relationships with service users, families, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure staff receive appropriate training and development.

You must be flexible to provide person-centred support to the people in the service at least one day a week and focus the rest of your time on all other areas of managerial responsibilities. As your new service offers 24/7 support to some people, you will need to have flexibility to work shifts on a rota basis, including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays on occasion.
