Senior Support Worker
Location: Birkenhead, CH42
Salary: Β£29,392.70 β Β£32,792.66 (Dependent on Experience)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (40 hours per week)
Are you an experienced Senior Support Worker ready to lead and make a real impact? Join our residential care team and help support young people with complex needs in a rewarding and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Home Manager and Deputy Manager with day-to-day operations
Lead shifts, mentor staff, and provide guidance as a Senior Support Worker
Deliver high-quality, person-centred care in line with individual care plans
Promote safeguarding, wellbeing, and best practices at all times
Supervise, train, and support staff development
Monitor care plans and ensure positive outcomes for each young person
Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative systems
Requirements:
Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification β Essential
Proven experience in residential care (children or young people preferred)
Confident in managing complex behaviours and safeguarding responsibilities
Strong leadership and communication skills
Resilient, flexible, and committed to making a difference
