We are proud to partner with a well‑established, children‑centred residential care provider for young people. We are seeking a Senior Support Worker to join the team within a solo placement home in Preston for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties. Salary: £34,084.00 – £37,509.00 per annum, inclusive of sleeps (depending on qualification)

Shift Pattern: 2 days on, 4 days off

Essential Requirements for a Senior Children's Home Support Worker:

  • A minimum 12 months experience in a children's residential care home
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
  • A full driving licence issued in the UK
  • Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions
  • In depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations and best practice
  • Values in line with the organisation, such as taking a therapeutic, person‑centred approach to childcare
